Christianity is a religion unlike any other. The teaching that God sent His only son to earth to live as a human being, without fault and then be put to death by His Father's creation only to rise from the dead three days and nights later is the foundation and defining doctrine of Christianity. If they are correct, then Christianity is not only wrong; but entirely baseless. Was Jesus Real?
Early television portrayed husbands and fathers in a positive light. Consider Ozzie and Harriett and Father Knows Best, for those old enough to remember. On This Date, a book authored by Carl M. Cannon, has a timely bit of American history relevant for any Christian observing the Passover.
It was on the day before the Passover, April 9, 1865, that Robert E. Lee told his aide, “The time had come for capitulation”—for surrender. His aide, Colonel Walter Herron Taylor, replied that any other fate would be preferable.
