Faithful Christians annually observe the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) as a recurring reminder that Satan the Devil will soon be bound and imprisoned in the abyss for 1000 years.  But, the Day of Atonement represents much more than that.

As a society, we love a good story. Writers can make millions of dollars crafting thrilling tales to keep us on the edge of our seat. The most common formula used is that of good versus evil.

Millions of men and women spend untold hours in the glitzy halls of casinos, while many others gather around octagon tables to play “friendly” games of “nickel” poker. Still others indulge in office sports pools, all the while hoping to cash in on the losers’ money.

What about those who set back a small amount of money for the occasional trip to the casino “just for entertainment?” What principles does God’s word contain concerning gambling? Is gambling a sin?

When you hear the term "Armageddon," what images come to mind?  Perhaps you picture an asteroid crashing into the earth, a nuclear war ravaging the world or an epidemic snuffing out all life from the planet.  The term has become synonymous with the phrase "the end of the world," and many believe that it marks the end of all life on earth!

Have you ever held a really big, beautiful diamond?  A "GIA grade F" diamond is considered flawless.  These are the rarest diamonds on earth, revealing no visible internal or external imperfections.  Three to four carat "grade Fs" are valued at $250,000 to $300,000 or more.  But these diamonds are unimpressive specks compared to the diamonds the Creator God possesses.  His diamonds are thousands of miles across – and, they sing for Him.
