The Old Man

When people are young, they often want to be older. When they are old, they often want to be younger—or at least to look and feel younger. Common to nearly everyone is the desire to be rejuvenated and renewed.

Are You in "the Way"?

We have all heard the expression, “My way or the highway.” It is usually a statement made by someone in authority, giving a subordinate a choice—either to do something a certain way, or to suffer the consequences. The Almighty God gives mankind a choice, either to learn to live His way, or to suffer the consequences. Which way are you choosing?

“I didn’t send that!”

Every day, e-mail accounts are hacked and used to generate “spam” messages that appear to come from the people being hacked! This is a form of identity theft, and it is on the increase. Identity theft is age old. Even apostles—and Jesus Christ Himself—have been its victims!

Where Am I?

At some time or another, we have all been temporarily lost—turned around, going the wrong way, on the wrong road, or at the wrong address. Perhaps we received bad directions, saw a misleading road sign or missed a turn, or encountered unforeseen obstacles in our path. How do we get to where we are trying to go?

Losing our way may be only a minor, temporary irritation, with the only real consequence being the loss of time spent backtracking or driving farther, which may make us late. Once we make the necessary corrections, we are not lost anymore.
