On a trip to Poland, “Pope Francis has warned that a recent wave of jihadist attacks in Europe is proof that ‘the world is at war’” (BBC, July 27, 2016). “Not a war of religion. There is a war of interests. There is a war for money. There is a war for natural resources. There is a war for domination of peoples. This is the war.

A major prophetic event happened just weeks ago, and you may not even have noticed! When Britain voted to leave the European Union, the world—and especially the EU—was shocked and alarmed at the economic and political significance. The world is fraught with dangers of every description: robberies, murders, rapes and assaults occur in every venue, whether school classrooms and hallways, places of work, store parking lots, sidewalks, highways or homes. We all need a protective shield.
