Question: Acts 15 shows that the New Testament Church imposed only four requirements on new Gentile converts: "to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood" (Acts 15:20). The Sabbath, Holy Days and dietary laws are conspicuously absent, so why should today’s Christians observe them?

Answer: Many Bible students have been shocked by God’s “eye for an eye” command in Exodus 21:23–25. They imagine that during Old Testament times, anyone causing the loss of an eye, hand or foot would automatically suffer the identical loss. Many wonder: “How could such a cruel command come from a loving Father?”

Question: Many are confused about the manner of Jesus Christ’s return. How will we know when He returns to Earth?

Answer: Before His death, resurrection and ascension into heaven, Jesus Christ promised, "I will come again" (John 14:3). But many who call themselves Christians differ widely in their beliefs about the manner of Christ’s return. Some think that He will come secretly; others believe that He will return twice—secretly at first, then later visibly. A few think that He has already returned to Earth. What is the truth?
